Rhenus Sports Tech expands its cooperation with gym80 across Europe

Rhenus Sports Tech, which is part of the Rhenus Group, is expanding its range of services to include Europe-wide transport operations and the assembly of premium fitness equipment as part of the gym80 anniversary celebrations. In doing so, the sports tech logistics specialist is supporting the German manufacturer of high-end weight training equipment in its activities in the European market.

Rhenus has already been ensuring for many years that gym80’s final customers in Germany and Switzerland receive the fitness and medical devices that they have ordered on time. Rhenus Sports Tech will now deliver the heavy-duty items of sports equipment to the place where final customers wish to use them anywhere in Europe; they will be positioned and assembled there too. Rhenus will also directly dispose of the packaging. In addition, the technical value-added logistics specialist is providing a web-based consignment tracking system, so that gym80 always knows exactly what is happening to its deliveries across Europe.

Rhenus Sports Tech develops and implements individual logistics concepts for many companies in the fitness and wellness sector. The company not only pre-installs the devices at its own logistics and technical terminals or directly at the installation site, but also handles the transport, positioning and assembly operations.
