Protests by customs agents in France have continued throughout the week, protesting for higher pay and demonstrating what could happen if greater controls are put in place post-Brexit:
Due to the ongoing industrial action by the French Customs, trucks moving from Calais into the UK have been seeing delays throughout the week. Although buffer zones are already in use at Calais, there have been long queues throughout the week for trucks leaving through the port.
The situation in the UK is normal, the port of Dover is reporting no additional delays, with traffic free-flowing with no waiting time at check-in or on the terminal reported.
