Handex B.V. has been part of Rhenus RETrans GmbH & Co. KG from Duisburg in the Port Logistic - Road division since 2017. At this Dutch location of the Rhenus Group, transports of bulk goods are organised. We specialise in goods from the environmental service branch, wood, peat and unrefined iron. We move them in national and international traffic with tarpaulin, tipper and our own sliding floor or roll-off container vehicles.
With our extensive knowledge in the field of transport of waste and recyclable materials, we want to be a competent and reliable partner for our clients. Thanks to our constantly growing fleet of our own vehicles, we are able to respond flexibly and at short notice to customer requests.
Handex uses HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) biodiesel, which is obtained from waste materials such as used fats, cooking oils and vegetable oils. The raw material for HVO comes from controlled and certified cultivation. Its use leads to a reduction in CO2 emissions of up to 95%.
Handex has been using the first vehicles of this type since 2016. There are now five HVO-powered trucks.
