Order-to-Cash Services

As our appreciated customer, you can benefit from more than just our supply chain excellence. With regard to your day-to-day requirements, we offer a complete order-to-cash solution that aims to reduce your administrative burden and related costs. The service portfolio, representing the logistics services, is well known throughout the industry and has a proven track record. The quality standards will remain in place but will be extended on the front & back end with additional customer services and financial services. This enables you to stay focused on your own business, while we handle the end-to-end supply chain. Making it even easier to enter into one of the most attractive markets in the world.

The Dutch government has created a business climate for foreign companies that aims to make doing business through the Netherlands attractive by means of cooperation and flexibility. Bureaucracy has been replaced with streamlined administrative controls. Contrary to most other EU member states, the Netherlands has a system that provides for the deferment of VAT at the time of import. Instead of paying VAT when the goods are imported into free circulation within the EU, the payment can be deferred to a periodic VAT return. Under this system, the VAT at import should be declared but the amount can be deducted on the same return. The bottom line is that there is no actual payment of VAT at import so that you can realize cash-flow and interest earning benefits. For companies which are entering the European market we can provide full support to establish a subsidiary (Dutch BV or Branch Office) and assist you with arranging EU representation as well as CE marking and fiscal representation.

It is supporting the warehouse operation for its customer within the logistics facility. Financial Services

The fundamental rule of good debtor management is to minimize the time between the sale and the final receipt. Rhenus Contract Logistics can support you with: checking creditworthiness, monitoring credit limits, reminding debtors when payment terms are exceeded, resolving disputes and preparing credit notes.

We can create invoices and credit notes on your behalf in different languages, based on the requirements of your customers. The layout of your sales invoice will be drawn up in consultation to comply with your own branding.

Rhenus Contract Logistics will be fully responsible for the financial administration of all transactions and can be contacted in case of any financial related questions. This operational solution will be fully supported by our ERP-system (Microsoft Dynamics NAV) which is connected with our WMS using our fully integrated IT platform. By using the Rhenus ERP system, you can benefit from a high-end application that can support all financial transactions and generate several required reports.

We can report the financial figures of your legal entity and provide the value added tax return (via Dutch VAT Rep) as well as IntraStat listing.  Yearly, we can prepare the annual accounts of the legal entity. In the case of Dutch companies, we can register the annual accounts to the Chamber of Commerce and provide the corporate income tax return. Our expertise includes the following services;
