Independent break bulk terminal operator

In the Port of Rotterdam, Rhenus operates two break bulk multipurpose terminals. Rhenus is an independent terminal operator whose core business is stevedoring, transport and warehousing. We work for all forwarders (general and project cargo), break bulk and heavy-lift shipping companies, aluminium, steel and metal traders, OEM producers and manufacturers, EPC(I) offshore contractors as well as on- and offshore oil and gas and renewable energy companies. Our two deep-sea terminals with heavy cranes function as a cargo hub to optimise industrial supply chains for our customers.

Terminal handling

At both of our terminals, we have ample heavy-duty equipment with lifting capacities for any kind of job. Forklifts up to 32 tonnes, MAFI trailers up to 100 tonnes, reach stackers up to 45 tonnes and mobile harbour cranes up to 125 tonnes for a single lift and a maximum of 187.5 tonnes in twin-lift.
