PREPARE FOR BREXIT

On December 31, 2020, the transitional period agreed in the Brexit agreement of Great Britain from the European Union will end. The EU and the UK are committed to agreeing an ambitious future partnership that is consistent with the political and geographical proximity and economic interdependence between the EU and the UK. Brexit will have serious consequences, including for the exchange of goods and services.

Entrepreneurs who will trade in goods with the United Kingdom will have to complete customs formalities related to the import of goods from a third country or the export of goods to a third country.

YOUR BREXIT CHECKLIST:

NOMINATE CUSTOMS BROKER
Complete our authorization document to enable Rhenus Logistics to act as your customs representative.
PREPARE EORI NUMBER
Your EORI number will be needed for each customs declaration. If you have not yet received your EORI number, see how you can do it: EORI
PREPARE YOUR DOCUMENTS FOR CUSTOMS CLEARANCE
To complete the declaration on your behalf, you must provide us with: // a commercial invoice

// packing list
// certificate (if required)
// CMR
// customs code declarations

Customs clearance requires prior notification. Documents should be sent at least 1 day in advance.
