In accordance with its philosophy of offering specialised and focused service to its clients, and to add value to its operations, Rhenus continues to optimise its processes by incorporating improvements such as the roll-out of a new warehousing management system in its platform of Bilbao, which started operations from its new location last year.

Rhenus' platform in Bilbao has a covered surface area of over 3,400 square metres, with five loading bays, categorised as a customs bonded warehouse and focused on the specific needs of local industry, such as metallurgy and automotive. From here, the company offers airfreight and sea cargo services, special projects, customs services and comprehensive logistical actions.
This platform of Rhenus in Bilbao is also specially equipped for handling bulk cargo with large volumes and weights to meet any logistical need successfully. From the new warehouse it is provided consolidation and coordination services for integrated multi-modal logistics. It also has excellent transport connections by land, with the area's main roads, by sea and by air, given its proximity to the city's airport, one of the most important in the north of the Iberian Peninsula.
