The Rhenus Group, represented by the Rhenus Fulfillment Solutions business unit, is attending Germany’s leading e-commerce trade fair, the “Internet World 2014”, for the very first time. The company will have a stand at the B2B fair in Munich on 25 – 26 February 2014. Rhenus Fulfillment Solutions will inform partners about integrated e-commerce and fulfilment solutions; and it will offer information to trade visitors about its modular services and front-end components on stand D 192 in hall B1.
“The e-commerce sector has grown strongly during the last few years and will continue to do so in future. But competition and pressure on costs are increasing too. This is where we become involved and can offer both complete sector solutions and individual concepts for e-commerce,” Tobias Kaulfuss, Managing Director of Rhenus Fulfillment Solutions, explains.
Rhenus Fulfillment Solutions supports its customers in many ways; they include setting up and looking after online shops, providing transport and warehouse logistics, managing payments, handling marketing activities and arranging customer services. The range offered by the fulfilment specialists includes complete solutions for sectors or individual concepts and value-added services.
“The “Internet World” fair is an ideal platform to demonstrate the benefits of our front-end components to managers and present our fulfilment services to the Internet world,” says Tobias Kaulfuss, explaining his reasons for attending the fair. Rhenus is not just offering information about Rhenus Fulfillment Solutions services on the stand, but an e-commerce quick check too. This provides visitors attending the fair with personal advice on how they might improve their e-commerce activities, following a quick test.
“We have a major advantage: we’re able to combine the expertise and the network of the Rhenus Group as a logistics services provider with the demands of the constantly developing Internet sector and we can therefore cover the complete value-added chain,” Tobias Kaulfuss adds.
Managing Director Tobias Kaulfuss will shed some light on the issue of “Fulfillment 2.0 – Handling E-Commerce” in a specialist lecture to be held in the Infoarena II at 4.30 p.m. on 25 February 2014. This will partly deal with opportunities that arise for e-commerce traders as a result of the increasing degree of internationalisation.
The e-commerce “Internet World” fair has been held at the Munich Trade Fair Centre every year since 1997 and it is accompanied by a trade congress. It is directed at Internet professional providers and users and covers several subject areas like logistics, e-payment, usability, online marketing, social media and software. The organisers expect approx. 12,000 visitors and 300 exhibitors in 2014; there will be stands in two trade fair halls covering an area that measures 11,000 square metres.
